You can select from a number of formats for displaying the date and time, or even create a custom format. Different formats can be used simultaneously in different windows. (The Instruments window will use the same setting for both “Time” and “Ext Time” columns.)

 

Note: The very last option in the pull-down list is User format. Selecting this will expand a dialog box that allows you to create a custom Date/Time format.
